Road Trip

One early morning while I was still fast asleep, Mommy and Daddy loaded me up in the car for my first road trip. I slept for a long time and when I woke up we were already in Illinois! It took us almost 9 hours but we finally arrived in Kansas City on Friday afternoon.
I got to meet so many people on my visit. My great grandparents came to town and I finally got to meet my great Grandpa Bill who I am named after. We really hit it off and had a great time! I also got to see my Grandpa and Grandma Cody, my Aunt Steph and a lot of Daddy and Mommy's friends. They haven't seen me in a few months and were amazed by how big I have gotten. I was such a good boy and did lots of cool tricks to show them all that I have learned. I talked to them, rolled over and showed them how I am working on crawling. They were real impressed! They took me to a bunch of places and showed me around Kansas City. I am still too young to eat BBQ but one of these days I'll be ready and we'll go back for another visit. I even met a new friend my age named Carter on our trip. He has lots of hair so I asked him his secret.
By Monday when we had to make the drive back home, I was exhausted from such a busy weekend. We had a wonderful time though and I was really happy to get to see my family and friends. I really hope that we can do that more often! -Will-
