I had my 9 month check up yesterday. I got to see that nice doctor lady again, so that was cool. As always, she shined a light in my eyes and ears and put this brown stick in my mouth and told me to hang my tongue out. I thought that was a little weird, but she let me play with the stick after she was done, so whatever.
The nurse put me on the scale and said that I weigh 17 pounds and 4 ounces now. That means that I have gained exactly 10 pounds since I was born! I am 27 inches long and she said that I am in the 6th percentile for my weight and the 25th for my height. I'm not sure what all that means exactly, but I do know that she said I am a happy and healthy boy. I told Mommy and Daddy that is all that matters anyway!
Just when I thought that we were about to leave, that other nurse with the shots came in. They always trick me right there at the end of the visit! I only got 2 shots this time, a flu shot and a polio vaccine, but I cried pretty bad. Don't laugh! I'd like to see what you would do if they stuck those big needles in your legs! -Will-
P.S. I felt fine after I got home and was playing with Daddy, but I'm attaching a picture wearing my band aids just in case you want to feel sorry for me. :)
