After months of anticipation, I finally got to meet my girlfriend, Sophie a couple of weeks ago. Mommy has been telling me all about her and showing me her pictures for months now and I was so excited to finally get to meet her face to face! As soon as Mommy laid me on the bed next to her, I got this huge grin on my face and tried to grab her and give her a kiss. We got to play for a few minutes and then Mommy and Sophie's Mommy loaded us up in the car so they could go eat lunch and do something called "girl talk." Whatever! When we got to the restaurant, I found out that Sophie's favorite food is sweet potatoes too! This couldn't be more perfect! We both gobbled up our lunch and I was so nervous and excited about our first date that I threw up everywhere. How embarrassing! Mommy got me cleaned up, put some fresh clothes on me and I was back to making eyes at Sophie in no time.
After we had lunch, they loaded us back in the car so they could go to the mall. Sophie and I were both exhausted and decided to take a nap on the way there. Mommy and Jill thought it was "so sweet" when they found us sleeping in the same position in our seats. I just knew it was meant to be!
Unfortunately, Sophie had to go home the next day, but we'll always have Nashville on that Sunday afternoon. Mommy promises that I will get to see her again someday. Until then, I have some great pictures of she and I to keep the memory alive! -Will-
