This weekend is Father’s Day and I thought I should let everyone know that I have the best Daddy in the whole world! Mommy said that since the day they found out about me, Daddy has loved me. She said that he talked and talked about me, wondered what I would be like and waited on her hand and foot so that she could concentrate on making sure I came out nice and strong. He even painted my room and put my crib together so I would have a nice place to sleep at night when I got home from the hospital. What a guy! When I finally arrived, after that long stay in Mommy’s belly, he said that he had never felt such love as he did when he saw my face. He took me over and introduced me to Mommy and I was so happy with my new family! We have been having a blast ever since! Daddy plays fun games with me and will do just about anything to make me smile. He kisses my neck and it tickles so much, I just laugh and laugh. He makes funny faces at me and helps me with my bath every night. I never go to bed without a special good night hug and kiss from Daddy. In the mornings before his shower he always spends time talking to me and making sure my day gets off to a good start. That is our special time together.
So, when I heard about this “Father’s Day” thing I was super excited to get to show my Daddy how much I love him. I can’t wait to celebrate and we have some special things planned. I better not say anything about his gifts yet, because he’s sneaky and will be peeking in here and ruining the surprise. I hope he had a wonderful day and loves every thing we do for him. We just love that guy to pieces! –Will-
